Salad was the largest organic market for 2016

Data released by Nielson shows the total dollars Americans spent in 2016 on different food categories. In the fresh organic categories, packaged salad topped the charts at $881m, followed by berries and apples at $458m and $290m respectively. To see the full version of the list click here.
