China: Chengdu airport has good start to the new year

Chengdu Shuangliu International airport has made a good start to the new year as the assigned port for the import of fruits. On 9 January, a 200 kg batch of fresh New Zealand cherries swiftly went through the Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of the Chengdu airport and entered the borders. The batch consisted of 39 cases and had a total value of 2041.91 USD. This is the first batch of fruit that has been successfully imported through the Chengdu port in 2017.
