Azerbaijan agricultural exports rose in 2016

Azerbaijani exports of agricultural products totalled $381m in January-November 2016, an increase of 21.6% when compared to the year prior. Fruits and vegetables accounted for the largest part of those volumes seeing a rise in exports and value.

Fruit exports totalled 182,000 tons which was up by 26.5% valued at $215m, a rise of 11.8%, and exports of vegetables amounted to 155,000 tons, up by 34.8% valued at $121m, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan.
