Albanian 2016 ag exports see 22% rise
Agricultural experts told local media, Saturday, that such growth was supported by new investment in improving agricultural infrastructure and the growing government subsidy schemes for farmers.
Exports of fruits and vegetables have given an impetus to the export figures, almost doubling in value against other products.
Albanian agriculture exports are dominated by vegetables, but also early season vegetables grown in greenhouses, said the experts.
