Raid in India destroys 750kg of rotten fruit

In a recent raid on Indian markets across the city of Punjab to control food quality, the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has destroyed around 750kg of rotten fruit.

According to details, the raids were conducted in several zones of the city under the supervision of PFA Director of Operations, Rafia Haider, along with PFA team members. The PFA teams also visited the Model Town Sunday Bazaar and checked the quality of food, vegetables and other essential commodities.

On this occcasion, around 400kg of rotten fruits was destroyed. The PFA teams also warned several shopkeepers about the quality of food and vegetables.

During a raid at Johar Town Sunday Bazaar, near Mian Plaza, the teams destroyed 350kg of stale fruits.
