New Arctic® Apples Logo
Following the first-ever commercial harvest this past fall, Fresh Arctic® Golden apple slices are about to hit select stores for U.S. test markets. In preparation, the company has been transitioning to a revamped, more modern logo to represent its nonbrowning Arctic® apple varieties.
Once the development of nonbrowning apple varieties was underway, OSF founder Neal Carter set to work brainstorming a proper name for these apples that would be strong, symbolic and descriptive. With the help of his family members, the name “Arctic” was determined to be an excellent fit because, like the snow-driven landscapes from which they draw their name, the flesh of Arctic® apples is fresh, crisp and pristine.
The company is pleased to formally introduce its logo to the world, and in a few short weeks, Arctic® apples themselves in test markets!
