Products that experienced such a drop include those in textile and metal mechanical industries; whereas, the demand for farming, fishing and iron and steel products expanded.

According to information provided by the National Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat), the general sales tax (IGV) of domestic origin grew to about US$770.8 million), up by 0.12% compared to November 2015.

Likewise, the collection of customs duties increased 6.50% to about US$680.3 million from the same month a year ago.

On the other hand, the selective consumption tax collection reached around US$90.2 million, that is, 17.08% less than in November 2015.
