Chinese chestnuts from Xinyang exported to South Korea

On November 22rd, there was good news from the Chinese Inspection and Quarantine Services: 48 tons of Chinese chestnuts from the Xinyang prefecture (Henan province) with an aggregate value of 216,000 USD, have successfully cleared the customs in South Korea. This was the first time these chestnuts had been exported to South Korea since the official implementation of the "Special Act on Safety Management of Imported Food" in South Korea during February this year.
