Cambodian watermelon exports to China up 26%

Between January and October 2016, China has imported a total of 440,000 tons of watermelons from Cambodia, a year-on-year 26% increase. Based on data from the inspection and quarantine bureau, Cambodian watermelons now account for over 80% of the watermelons sold during the off season in China, and some of them are re-exported to countries like Russia.
