Interpom | Primeurs: 20,000 visitors

The 18th edition of Interpom | Primeurs registered a record number of visitors: 19,938 people from at least 55 countries. This shows an increasing interest from abroad. Although the fair characterises itself as a fresh produce fair, its main focus is on potatoes.

This year, the trade fair recorded a new increase both in number of exhibitors and in surface area: 310 exhibitors (+11.5%) from 15 countries and 1,320 m2 additional stand space, compared with 2014. The fair was officially opened by former president of the European Council, Herman van Rompuy. ‘Growing through precision technology’ emphasised the increasing interest of ‘smart technology’ in agriculture, and this was also very obvious due to the many innovations the exhibitors showcased at their stands.

Exhibitors indicate they were very satisfied with this fair, which is held once every two years in Kortrijk, Belgium, and which represents the entire potato supply chain: from cultivation to processing and marketing. We have listed all of the Dutch and Belgian fresh produce exhibitors.
