Food event in December
Sydneysiders can experience Malaysia down under
Sydney's love affair with Malaysia is set to continue with a two-day interactive celebration of all that the pearl of South East Asia has to offer at Australia's Malaysia Fest.
Malaysia is a melting pot of culture and its offering is all about a fusion of flavours, ingredients, experiences and traditions.
Complementing other Malaysian promotional activities in Australia, Malaysia Fest in Sydney will be a multi-layered, sensory experience for people interested in Malaysian cuisine, the fashion and lifestyle scene, Malaysia as a perfect holiday destination, and the country’s unique culture.
The family-friendly event will include multicultural dancing with Malay, Indian and Chinese influences. Stallholders will include some of Australia's finest Malaysian Restaurants like Chinta Ria, Kampung Boy and Hawker. Cooking sauces and pastes, beverages, snacks and desserts will be available to sample and Tourism Malaysia will be on hand to showcase Malaysia's unique wonders, attractions and cultures.
