KIKU® Sports Academy launched at start of new season

The new sales season has already started, KIKU Northern Hemisphere expects a crop of around 25,000 tons in Europe and the USA. 

“Some areas are still harvesting,” explains Jürgen Braun, CEO of KIKU Apples. “Some like Washington State have been extremely early. Our US Partner CMI rocked at the recent PMA with innovative packaging and ideas to promote KIKU, especially at point of sale. We, in Europe, are later, and the upcoming Interpoma fair in Bolzano is the event to show novelties, especially regarding promo and marketing.” 



Right in time for the new season, KIKU® is holding the 1st edition of the KIKU Sports Academy, as an “event within the event” at the IMS, the International Mountain Summit, sponsored by KIKU.

“Being at the 8th edition, we wanted to go a step ahead and create an information platform for young athletes,” explains Braun. 



“KIKU & Sport is our leading marketing idea since forever, today we support two dozen athletes worldwide. The young ambassadors are the best vehicles to create a positive aura around the brand and explain to people out there, how healthy and cool it is to consume apples. We have done a great promo clip with KIKU Athletes, already a success in the socials, and hopefully soon also in points of sales: 


The KIKU SPORTS ACADEMY, an info platform for the youngsters, with the presence of former athletes and champs reporting about their career, and with experts on social media, and other important arguments for athletes, and finally with KIKU athletes for an exchange of ideas amongst the 80 participants, bringing lots of compliments to KIKU for this new and particular format.”
