Mini watermelons become new market hit

As the Mid-Autumn Festival is around the corner, many Chinese consumers tend to purchase fruits as gifts for friends and family members. Recently in a high-end supermarket in Taihu Xincheng, a variety of novel fruits attracted the attention of consumers - among them was a fruit type called the mini watermelon from Hainan province. Each mini watermelon is slightly smaller than one olive, a box of over 20 mini watermelons weighs only 100 grams, and it is sold at the price of 39.8 Yuan per box. What's more interesting, the skins of these mini watermelons can be consumed as well.
