TECNIDEX, FRUIT PROTECTION will participate in the 33rd edition of the Italian fruit and vegetable MACFRUT fair, which will be held from September 14 to the 16 in the Rimini exhibition center.
TECNIDEX's participation in this fair reflects its strong and decisive commitment to the Italian market, where the company has been working for a long time, as it is the only post-harvest specialist with an international presence that currently invests significantly in this market.
The company, which will be in Hall D1, stand 157, will present the most innovative solutions from its extensive catalogue for the protection of fruits and vegetables in post-harvest. Among other developments, the company will present Scholar®, a broad spectrum fungicide from Syngenta, with which TECNIDEX collaborates exclusively, and that has been authorised in this country for kiwifruit, plum, peach, and nectarine crops, with very positive results. In kiwifruit it prevents diseases caused by Botrytis cinerea and in stone fruits it prevents diseases caused by Monilinia sp., among others.
The company will also present its new product, Teycer® LEAF product, from its Teycer® waxes and detergents line, to the Italian market. This wax was specially designed for the post-harvest treatment of leafy citrus fruit. It improves the fruit's appearance while maintaining the freshness of its leaves and increasing their brightness, preventing them from losing weight and delaying their ageing.
The company will also exhibit its CONTROL-TEC® technology line, in which their CONTROL-TEC® CAM KAKI equipment stands out, a technology developed and patented by TECNIDEX that completely eliminates the astringency of persimmon, by controlling the oxygen, CO2, temperature, relative humidity, and pressure in an average time of 24 h without staining the fruit.
