The VI International Ecuadorian Mango Congress will be held in Guayaquil

The Ecuador Mango Foundation is inviting the local farming community to participate in the VI INTERNATIONAL ECUADORIAN MANGO CONGRESS, the most important event for this coastal fruit. 

The organisation has designed a high-level program with conferences about topics related to irrigation, market trends, climate change, disease management, harvesting, post-harvest, and other issues.

15 specialist in their respective fields from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, United States, Mexico, and Venezuela will be in charge of the lectures. 

The congress is a benchmark for the international mango industry and a meeting point for producers, traders, and importers.

Sergio CedeƱo Amador, chairman of the Mango Foundation, will be giving interviews on September 1 before the opening ceremony, which will be held that same day at 9.00. 

The mayor of Guayaquil, Jaime Nebot, the minister of Agriculture, Javier Ponce, and the minister of Foreign Trade, Juan Carlos Cassinelli, among other industry representatives, will also attend the event.
