Besides mangoes, lychees are also sold at a very attractive price. This year the purchase price of the Feizixiao lychee from Guangxi province nearly doubled, reaching 8 Yuan/kilo. On certain occasions, it used to surge to 12 Yuan/kilo. In comparison, the prices of other lychee varieties also increased from 0.8 Yuan/kilo last year to 4 Yuan/kilo this year. This price surge is due to the significant lychee volume decrease in other lychee growing regions.

For example, its oranges' average sales markets increased around 20% compared to the same period last year, and the prices of other varieties such as peaches, plums and lychees increased by over 30%.
