Taiwan fruit imports hit new records at Fujian Free Trade Zone

The Fujian Free Trade Zone is celebrating its first anniversary. In the month April, 30 tons of fruit from Taiwan have been imported. This is 70% of total imports. It has been the highest monthly import quantity since the opening of the Free Trade zone, and also the largest number of different fruit varieties.

Demand for fruit from Taiwan is strong. Custom clearance procedures have been brought back to 2 or 3 days only. As a result, Fujian is becoming a popular import port.
