The Bayer 2016 Australian Melon Industry Conference & Field Days is fast approaching - 16, 17, 18 March in Mildura. Only one month before growers and industry members descend on 'Belah Heights' in Mildura for a full program of international and Australian speakers, along with almost 4 kilometres of varieties exhibited in the field.
This is a wonderful opportunity for growers to hear the latest information on a range of diseases from researchers, as well as breeding information from Spanish and US breeders. Dr Aviv Dombrovsky from Israel will present on the latest CGMMV research. Compare all of the current and new varieties with all Australian seed companies having displays.
The two field days will followed by a district and winery tour on Friday 18th March. The popular Industry Dinner will again be a highlight of the evening of Wednesday 16th March.
