communities. To help address the need for delicious, wholesome food, Ready Pac Foods, Inc., a producer

has partnered with Daily Table, a not-for-profit retail grocery store dedicated to bringing nutritious prepared meals and groceries to economically challenged communities. Starting this year Ready Pac Foods will donate a variety of products and commodity items to Daily Table's Dorchester, Mass., store twice a week.

Founded by the former president of Trader Joe's Doug Rauch, Daily Table is able to offer very low prices by working with a large network of growers, distributors, manufacturers, and other suppliers who donate their excess, healthy food, or provide special buying opportunities. Ready Pac's commitment to fresh ingredients and healthy options help expand grocery and prepared meal options at Daily Table. Most importantly, much of what Daily Table sells is wholesome food that would have been wasted, if not for its recovery efforts.
