Ser.mac - Hall 4.1 - Stand A-11

Blueberry and round fruit sorters at Fruit Logistica

Ser.mac will attend Fruit Logistica 2016 in Hall 4.1, Stand A-11 to display its machinery and plants for the processing of fruit and vegetables.

The company managers that will welcome visitors at the fair are: owners Stefano Crociani and Enrico Prosapio as well as sales managers Iacopo Gemma, Vilmer Guidazzi and Alessandro Pasi.

This year, Ser.mac will showcase two sorters - Daytona Blueberry and CA.RO. 40.

The first is an innovative line for the processing of blueberries. The grader guarantees excellent results maintaining high qualitative standards and an extremely accurate selection. The Daytona Blueberry electronic sorter enables you to select fruit with the utmost precision while reducing labour cost.

The Agrovision technology enables the selection of a product that complies with the external and internal standards required by the market. The entire system is managed by a single intuitive interface developed with the latest and entirely-customisable software.

CA.RO. 40 was designed and developed by Ser.mac to maintain high productivity standards and is specific for round fruit and vegetables. Its distinctive element is the CA.RO. cup (patented), which enables multiple fruit rotations during sorting. The electronic system of the sorter enables the analysis of the exterior quality thanks to high-resolution cameras that identify defects such as rot, cuts and hail marks.

Company managers told FreshPlaza that, "despite the crisis, we are growing and aim to expand on the international market. To us, quality derives from attention, selection and experience. That is why we are always working on new sorting processes for all kinds of products in order to meet our partners/customers demands."

Sermac will attend Fruit Logistica in Berlin on 3-5 February 2016, in Hall 4.1 - Stand A-11.
