Orange, yellow vine tomatoes cultivated under light available at The Greenery

As of Monday 23 November, orange and yellow vine tomatoes will be available at The Greenery again. They are grown under lights at grower Peter Enthoven from Kwintsheul. Thanks to the cultivation under lights The Greenery can supply orange and yellow vine tomatoes all winter.

Yellow and orange vine tomatoes have a special and more exclusive character than their well known red peers due to their striking natural colour. They add a sunny colour accent to all dishes they are in. The tomato tastes fresh and is nice and juicy. The orange and yellow vine tomatoes are available in a 5kg and 2.5kg box. Flowpack or click scale packaging is available on request.

Besides this, Peter Enthoven will also be growing the San Mazzo Course under light this winter. We previously introduced the Papeletto. This is a block shaped cocktail tomato on the vine that are ideal to fill due to their shape. The Papeletto has proven to be an added value for the Tradizionale assortment. For this reason this tomato is available from cultivation under light again this winter.

We also introduced a newcomer this year, the brown vine tomato. The brown loose tomato is already known to many. Peter Enthoven is now growing a vine variety. In recent weeks some brown vine tomatoes from the autumn cultivation have been sold. The responses have been very positive so far.
