Strawberry crate saves 75% storage space

The company OuG Hadel will present a new wooden strawberry crate to the European public at the leading trade fair for asparagus and berry production. The new ‘QuicksHolzklappkiste’ will be presented at the fair in Karlsruhe on 18 and 19 November 2015. The new crate can save 75% of storage space compared with the current strawberry crates, states the company OuG Hadel.

For example 700 folded crates fit on a pallet instead of just 160 conventional crates. A stop prevents the crates form sliding off the pallets.

The bottom of the crate can easily and cheaply be replaced if it is dirty or damaged. That means that the crates can be used for sales in stores and reused again. The crates are, besides decorative, also sustainable and made of the fast growing poplar wood.
