Badrinas improved sustainability of agri cardboard trays

After some lengthy joint studies with some of the leading cardboard companies in Europe the BADRINAS brand has developed a range of hot melt adhesives suitable for forming cardboard trays used in the packaging of fruits and vegetables.

These products, indicated for PLAFORM or P84 trays, among others, have the characteristic of being more sustainable than traditional adhesives because they ensure a higher productivity with a smaller amount of product application; thus leading to significant cost savings for packers, assembly centers, and cardboard producers for horticultural products. Additionally, their higher performance and versatility translates into visible health and safety improvements, as well as a lower need for maintenance and line stoppages.

Opting for a low-temperature adhesive application results in significant energy savings, cost improvements, and a decrease in carbon footprint.

Visitors to the next FRUIT ATTRACTION fair will learn about the Hot-Melt SEMPACOL adhesives and all the ranges they are available in. They will also be able to consult with BADRINAS commercial technicians about the best choice for each application.
