Chinese wholesale fruit prices going down

Since the end of the Chinese National Holiday, fruit prices in large wholesale markets have been going down. Apples and watermelons have witnessed the biggest price decrease of 40%.

Prices have come down because the main season for seasonal fruits such as grapes, persimmon, pear, winter jujube and mandarin has started. At this moment, average wholesale prices for the fruit hover around 4 Yuan per kg. Vegetables prices increased by 2%.
