Waste of primary agricultural products after harvest is as high as 20-30% due to a lack of cold storage solutions and cold chain logistics. This according to a report of the Central Government that has been published alongside a Development Plan.
In the report the Central Government estimated that the cold chain logistics industry will grow at a rate of 20% to 30% a year in the coming years. Cooled truck transport will grow at an estimated annual growth rate of 30% up to 2025.
