Strawberries: Demand drops due to weather
The season is slowly but surely ending. The German strawberry supply increased, however the quality of the fruit wasn’t always convincing. The customers demand lowered too due to the bad weather. The sales possibilities were limited and only at the end of the week the sales picked up a little. And accordingly, the prices went up.

In Frankfurt the prices dropped and in Munich the prices fluctuated. The fluctuations were influenced by the supply, the quality and the demand. Belgian and Dutch strawberries completed the supply but although the quality was high the amounts were too small to influence the prices.
