Renovation work on Grossmarkt Dusseldorf goes ahead

The renovation work on the Dusseldorf wholesale store is progressing slowly. This is reported by wholesale trader Roland Tolls, who is located there. "The reason the Dusseldorf wholesale market exists is based on a new and old theme. Of course, the wholesale market still has the right to exist later on, and so it stays in its current place," Tolls reports. In the course of the renovations, there was a quick discussion as to whether to move the wholesale market or not.

Since 2005, Tolls has been active on the Düsseldorf Wholesale market. "The renovations on the wholesale market are progressing bit by bit," the wholesale trader explains. Meanwhile, the wholesale market has a new gate system and more employees. Further work such as the new construction of various wholesale market halls will follow. "What we are missing, is a clear and unambiguous signal from the city of Dusseldorf and the mayors as to how to continue from here," Tolls continues. 

Besides his work as a wholesale trader, Tolls is an active member of the Düsseldorfer Großmarktgilde. The guild is an interesting group of traders and producers on the Dusseldorf wholesale market. It stands up for the concerns of its members and the constant optimization of the market premises. "We would welcome the work on the market premises progrssing more quickly. But until then, business on the wholesale market will go on as usual," says the business man.
