The 15th Shenyang Agricultural Fair in Shenyang has attracted almost a hundred thousand visitors on its first day. The total exhibition area was 65,000 sqm and 25% of the fair was reserved for international companies from 31 countries, including the USA, Italy, France and the UK. For the first time a Korean pavilion was present.
The fair boosted three major themes, including 'agriculture and food' and 'creative agriculture'. Visitors could admire a 68.5 kg giant melon and other horticulture products such as black beans, black peanuts, Chinese red grapes, honey and black sesame products.
