Apprenticeships available

Green jobs with variety and perspectives for the future

The new school year has started and the German Farmers Association (DBV) points out that according to the Federal Employment Agency there are still 2,764 agriculture apprenticeships available all over Germany. The DBV continues to point out that it is possible to start an apprenticeship until the end of the year as a part of the delayed placement options. There are even more positions available than shown at the employment agencies, since apprenticeships aren’t always reported there.

The jobs in agriculture offer young people exciting jobs with variety and good perspectives for the future. The DBV website “My green future” www.meine-gruene-zukunft.de offers with video clips clear information on the various green jobs in the agricultural sector.

There are databases available with the available positions per region at the website: www.bildungsserveragrar.de/ausbildung/ausbildungsbetriebe.
Furthermore nationwide job advisors and consultants of the Chambers of Agriculture are available to inform, support and mediate starters, jobseekers and people who want a new career in finding suitable training positions.
