Violent storms over Saxony and the Southwest of Germany

Almost no damage reported according Farmers' associations

In the night of 22 July a storm, with heavy rain and lightning has caused a lot of damage, especially in the southwest of Germany and in Saxony. During the storm many roads and basements were flooded and trees and transmission towers fell over.

No reports according to Farmers' associations 
Despite the heavy storm, which left several people injured and one dead, the farms in the area weren't seriously damaged, stated the Farmers' associations in the affected regions.

Farm burns down to the ground
Media reported that a farm in the small town of Kißlegg in Baden-Württemberg has been hit by lightning and burned down. The fire caused, according to the police, estimated damages of 300,000 Euros.
