As of June 22, 2015 these companies officially started carrying out all their activities under their new name: Solidus Solutions. The four cardboard factories in Bad Nieuweschans, Oude Pekela, Hoogkerk Coevorden (The Netherlands) and the four converting companies in Oude Pekela, Bergen op Zoom (The Netherlands), Hoogstraten (Belgium), Corby (England), as well as the sales offices in France and Norway, are all part of Solidus Solutions now. Solidus Solutions has a turnover of 250 million Euro and approximately 850 employees.
The name Solidus Solutions has been carefully chosen. Solidus contains the word 'solid', which has a direct correlation to our product: Solid (card) Board.
Additionally, solidus is Latin for solid and stands for strong, authentic, reliable and credible. These are values that Solidus Solutions stands for. With a new logo and a new name we would like to continue doing what we do best: creating sustainable and innovative solutions for our customers with solid and graphic cardboard. On June 22, 2015 we announced our new name to the world together with our employees.
