AU: Moraitis Group becomes Oakville produce

Moraitis Group, one of the Australia’s longest-standing vertically integrated fresh produce organisations, has today unveiled its new name and logo. The rebranding reflects the many recent changes the company has undergone as well as its fresh vision for the future.

The company has a long and proud history with the Moraitis name since its early beginnings distributing Tasmanian potatoes to mainland Australia over 55 years ago. Oakville Produce CEO Mano Babiolakis has said “staff, management and our board are sincerely thankful to the Moraitis family who have supported the recent changes in the business as we move to a vertically integrated business model”.

Mr Babiolakis has said the new corporate name and logo represents the company’s future direction, encompassing a highly focused farm-direct supply strategy concentrating on core product categories: potatoes, onions, bananas and berries.
Oakville Produce supplies approximately 250,000 tonnes of quality fresh produce every year from its farms across the country.
