Potato processing project in Cameroon

The Minister of Industry in Cameroon has launched a call for proposals to recruit a survey firm that will carry out technical studies for the government to create a potato processing project in the North West of the country in Kumbo.

Interested companies, in line with the Cameroon tax administration, have until the 20th March 2015 to submit their proposals.

Cameroon produces between 220,000 to 400,000 tons of potatoes annually, depending on weather conditions. 17% of production is exported to neighbouring countries. Over 80% of this national production is from regions in the West and North West.
