Huercasa signs deal with Jovaige

The strategic alliance between the companies, Huercasa and Jovaige, from Spain and Lithuania respectively, reinforces their presence in the European market as one of the first beet root distributors. In 2015 they will place around 24,000 tons of vacuum-packed beet root in to the market. The agreement was announced at Fruit Logística Fair in Berlin. This agreement between the companies will allow improvements in service, quality and food safety, to ultimately create the best products available.

The alliance will “encourage and strengthen a permanent collaboration between both, from the comercial and production perspective,” according to Félix Moracho, president of Huercasa. Moracho pointed out the strategic vision of both companies in promoting common commercialization, competitivity of the products and the efficiency of the manufacturing process.

With this agreement, Huercasa will benefit from Jovaige having a production platform that enables them to operate more effectively in the Eastern European market. Jovaige maintains an industrial operation center in the north of the European continent, close to the Baltic and Scandinavian countries. On the other hand, Jovaige will find Spain to be a trustworthy and high-quality commodity supplier throughout the spring and summer.

Using this key strategy, Huercasa can offer a final product with higher quality and a better quality to price relationship. To sum it up, they will produce a product obtained using only fresh and raw materials, to provide the best taste and food quality.

With this partnership, Huercasa reinforces it’s position as a leader in the fifth Gama. The pairing ultimately will add to it’s leadership in the corn market as they become the first providers of vacuum-packed beet root postitioned in the European market.
