The Argentinian topfruit growers expect good harvest yields for pears this year, reports Fruchthandel.de. They are speaking of a nine percent higher harvest volume compared to last year, which comes down to a harvest of 789,000 tonnes of pears. In apples they estimate a harvest of 860,000 tonnes. This is a slight increase compared to last year.
