X5 Retail Group Russia: Trading results from nine months of 2014
In the third quarter the company's revenue increased by 23.1%. The largest contribution was made by discounters Perekrestok, the leading region was the Central Federal District.
The company's experts believe that trading results of nine months have been identified by the following factors:
• Enlarged trading space and increased number of purchases;
• Improved average ticket and consumer basket LFL;
• Efficient promotional and marketing campaigns and rotation range in Perekrestok;
• Higher level of logistics services and availability of goods on the shelves.
