AgroFresh launches a new global website

AgroFresh, a fully owned subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company and a global business unit of Dow AgroSciences LLC is pleased to announce the launch of its new and improved website ( ) that incorporates new information on AgroFresh’s technology portfolio and the historic development of its renowned 1-MCP formulations for the post-harvest industry and, more recently, for the pre-harvest sector.

AgroFresh, a pioneer in the development of 1-MCP for the quality and freshness maintenance of fruits during storage and transport, has added to its renowned SmartFreshSM Quality System a number of products that are adapted to specific crops, fruit quantities and regionally diverse regionally different customer needs. Harvista, introduced 3 years ago in the U.S. as a harvest management tool that reduces fruit drop and allows for delays in the picking time, has a firm place on the site as this unprecedented technology is now developed for other regions worldwide.

The AFIC is a regionally tailored e-fruit quality and market management tool that combines AgroFresh’s fifteen years of technical expertise with regularly updated external market information on production, consumption and price.”
