FIWAP potato market report for 1 September now available

The European service MARS (Monitoring of Agricultural Resources) estimates the average potato yield for the E.U.-28 at 32.3 t/ha, is 4% more higher than in 2013.

Some plots (especially of Bintje and Innovator) are still limited regarding the UWW due to the heavy rains last week. Test the UWW of each plot before removing the stems. If the UWW's late, you must let the crop benefit from the effects of some warm and sunny days. Keep an eye on the harvest calendar in any case.
