Grapes are a very sensitive crop to fungal plant diseases, which usually require fungicides to prevent high losses in production volumes.
After long years of research, Codiagro has created a range of products that prevent the use of fungicides and, therefore, the residues they generate. These residues can then pass on to consumers if the rules of each phytosanitary products are not strictly followed.
Codiagro's range of plant protection products can be used as a basis for treatments in organic, sustainable or even in traditional agriculture, alternating it with fungicides. The application of these plant protection products, in addition to preventing the presence of residues, minimises the development of resistances to fungicides. Resistances to fungicides are becoming increasingly frequent and designing new molecules under the current restrictive regulations is getting more and more difficult. Codiagro's range of plant protection products includes Codicobre®, a copper gluconate that has proved its effectiveness against fungal diseases such as mildew or alternaria; BR-59®, a barrier-effect product that only contains calcium in concentrated suspension and protects against botrytis; or Codiresist®, which is an excellent protection against powdery mildew.
Additionally, there is also Fitokontrol-K, a silicon based product that is beginning to be used in grapes with good results both in the prevention of these diseases and the improvement of the plant's productivity.
