Awe Sum Organics announces new logistics manager

Awe Sum Organics is pleased to announce that Dan LeClair has been hired in the newly created position of Logistics Manager. In this new role at Awe Sum Organics, Dan will focus on bringing more structure and enhancement to the supply chain process and network.

Dan carries a strong sense of international supply chain and sourcing from Central and South America. His experience and solid skills in the logistics area include import, export and distribution in North America of fresh/frozen fruit & vegetables, and ingredient components to the retail grocery industry including organic and natural food companies.

Dan has spent the last nine years working with Sun Opta, a natural and organic foods company in a logistics and supply chain role, managing their global supply chain platform.

Dan has a belief that "with teamwork, communication and collaboration great things can be accomplished". Dan is married with a 7 year old daughter. He has lived in Santa Cruz for the past 21 years and is an avid surfer and sailor. Dan has a strong passion for organics, sustainability and living a healthy lifestyle.
