Turkish hazelnut crop 2014 estimated at 387,960 tons
Total Turkish hazelnut export until 30-06-2014 (Crop 2013) is 232,381.5 mt, during the same period last year (Crop 2012), it was 268.699,0 mt and the year before that (Crop 2011) was this 196.164 mt.
Crop 2014
According to Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Agriculture in Regions of hazelnut, it was declared that hazelnut crop expectation for 2014 is 387,960 tons. With 187,096 tons in east Black sea, 200,864 tons in west Black sea. The earlier estimates of Hazelnut exporters’ was 500,000 tons (INC congress), with 230,000 tons in east Black sea, 270,000 tons in west Black sea.
