Satin is their most popular early season variety and is a large, heart shaped cherry with a thick green stem. The flesh is firm, and the cherry has a mild, sweet flavour.

Van is a classic cherry that Jealous Fruits grow in limited volumes. Van is one of the parents or grandparents of most varieties produced at Jealous Fruits. The cherry is very broad shouldered with fat green stems and a crunchy texture. Estimated harvest date is July 17 -19.
Satin- Home Farm: Projected harvest July 14.
Fortunately, the intermittent rains last week had no impact on their crop, as the fruit was green enough, and escaped significant damage. The forecast for the next 10 days is for sunny skies in the range of 28 to 30C. There is no extreme heat forecasted for the region.
