Kenya: No hope for veggie processing plant

The stalled Pan-African Vegetable processing plant in Naivasha may not be reopened after all, Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has said.

He said the planned revival of the plant has been met with several challenges. Mbugua said the plant, formerly owned by the state was handed over to private owners.

He said an earlier feasibility study on the plant indicated that it is not viable. Mbugua was speaking to the press in Naivasha town on Tuesday after meeting local farmers.
