TPSens from Roteritalia

Remote controlled monitoring device for machinery

TPSens is a remote-controlled monitoring device for mechanical problems.

Roteritalia, which also owns the Forigo brand, created it for machinery with units powered by endothermic motors, i.e. wet mechanical transmissions, or hydraulic ones. In addition, the device enables the collection of other useful information for both farmers and manufacturers.

TPSens is already available on the market, but the company is still waiting for the international patent. Currently, there are no other devices that can control the functioning of equipment powered by a tractor.

TPSens represents a great advantage for users, maintenance operators and manufacturers, as:
  1. it recognises the abnormal functioning of a specific part, so you can intervene before the machinery gets damaged;
  2. abnormal functioning can affect operations, so the information collected is vital to interrupt work before the machinery becomes inefficient;
  3. it analyses the effective use of the machine (useful to programme maintenance and evaluate the investment);
  4. it provides vital information for those that perform reparation work;
  5. it provides important information to the manufacturer as regards the maintenance programme and design, so the product can be improved;
  6. it provides information to integrate precision farming;
  7. it enables to create remote control systems and to assess the status of the machinery.
"Our target clients are big commercial farms, contractors and all the companies that use its machinery a lot," say company managers.

TPSens is easy to install and it enables to monitor in the functioning of the main parts of a machine in real time. In addition, it collects data so that company databases can be created.

"Currently, we are working on improving the device with new sensors and developing specific softwares to make it even more useful."
