Michael Murray named Gen. Counsel of Ready Pac Foods, Inc.

Ready Pac Foods Inc. is proud to announce the hiring of Michael Murray as their new General Counsel (GC). As the company’s GC, Michael will be responsible for providing professional legal advice and representation of legal matters throughout the organization. He will report directly to Ready Pac’s CEO, Tony Sarsam.

“Michael has a proven history of managing a variety of legal matters, and he comes equipped with an all-encompassing background to prove it. It’s truly an honor to have him on our Executive Team,” notes Sarsam.

Michael joins Ready Pac with over 20 years of experience in the areas of Global Consumer Products. His most recent endeavors, with Tempur-Sealy International, Inc., had him managing all legal aspects of a $1 billion international business, since 1999. His accomplishments continued with Tempur-Sealy as he also led many negotiations and acquisitions for numerous international operations and domestic businesses.

Prior to Sealy, Michael worked for Aeroquip-Vickers, in Maumee, Ohio, and managed the company’s litigation. He’s held various roles from Senior Vice President (SVP) - Assistant General Counsel and Secretary, to SVP, General Counsel and Secretary, and he has additional knowledge and experience as a transportation broker/manager, some Public Relations experience, and Initial Public Offerings (IPO).

Michael graduated with his B.A from Michigan State University (James Madison College). He received his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Michael reports into the Ready Pac Corporate office in Irwindale, CA.
