Germany: BayWa AG had record turnover in 2013

The German website Fruchthandel.de reports that BayWa AG from Munich has ended the fiscal year 2013 very successfully. The international trading and services group reported at both sales and in revenue before interest and taxes (EBIT) an evident increase when the preliminary figures were presented last Thursday, February 27th. The group's turnover in 2013 was around 16 billion Euro, exceeding the previous year by 52% (2012: 10.5 billion). 

EBIT increased in 2013 by 19 percent to around 222 million Euro (2012: 187 million euros). "We have achieved a clear and solid result. This is particularly due to our international growth and reinforces our strategy once more," said Klaus Josef Lutz, CEO of BayWa AG.
