Cargo Data develops new RF temperature monitoring products

Cargo Data, a provider of cold chainmonitoring solutions for the perishable food, chemical, pharmaceutical andfloral industries, has developed two new temperature monitoring solutions basedoff of their existing line of cold chain monitoring products.

The Automated Temperature Monitoring System(ATMS) combines three existing Cargo Data products into one system. A radiofrequency transmitter sends data recorded from inside the truck transporting goodsto a terminal, via a hand-held receiver operated by dock staff, in thereceiving facility for archiving and viewing. Information retrieval is fullyautomated, so there's no need to manually check and down data from therefrigerated truck in order to see what happened during transit.

Based on ATMS, Cargo Data has alsodeveloped ATMS Select RF, which is identical to ATMS, but it has the addedbenefit that every incoming order is captured and archived with no inputrequired from personnel on the dock.
