Produtankay (TANKAY), of Ecuador, was one of the four companies that received the GLOBAL GAP award; the world's strictest fresh produce quality standard.
"We have some world players in our country and we must encourage even more people to produce and develop non-traditional products that offer quality and added value," stated Dennis Brito, manager of Tankay.
Tankay exports fresh and dehydrated fruits and received the award after being selected between eighteen finalists; some of the world's most efficient producers and exporters.
