The first Chilean cherries have arrived at Roveg Fruit and Vegetables. From now on the variety Royal Down will be available in 5 kilo boxes. The varieties Brooks and Santina will be available from next week on.
These are the first cherries straight from the grower in Chile. The Roveg location in Chile takes care of the logistics. The first cherries are supplied by air and they are expected by boat in December. Cherries from New Zealand, Australia and Tasmania are expected in January.
