Seminis holds open days in Enkhuizen, 'Harvesting a bright future'

Seminis will again open its doors to professionals from the vegetable industry for the Seminis Open Days in Enkhuizen from the 24th through the 27th of September. This year’s theme is ‘Harvesting a bright future’. With this theme, Seminis aim to support all their partners in the chain to succeed and get the best results possible in their business.



The Seminis Open Days is an excellent opportunity to get information about different vegetable varieties in the demo field and to discuss the future of vegetables, consumer demands and all developments in the market. You will find consultants, account managers and seed breeders from Seminis in attendance to answer your questions and give valuable advice.

Seminis, known as a seed breeding company, will present a demonstration field at its Enkhuizen facility comprising vegetables such as cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, spinach, leek, onions, carrots and lettuce. Seminis will show established varieties as well as new ones that are performing well in recent Technical Department trials.

On Tuesday September 24th, the open day is dedicated to brassica. Throughout this day the brassica breeders will be present. During the Seminis Brassica Conference, many aspects of the brassica market will be explored, such as soil structures, market trends, leakage tests and much more. Professionals from the vegetable industry are welcome to attend the Seminis Brassica Conference upon registration.

The Seminis Open Days take place in Enkhuizen, The Netherlands, from 24th to 27th September 2013 from 09.00 to 17.00.
